FAQ

Questions and answers

How does the free trial work?
Every new user gets two hours of audio, once. Use it for recordings, uploads or both, across one or several files. It has no expiry date and does not renew monthly. You only start a subscription when you choose a paid plan.
What counts towards my hours?
The duration of the audio, including silence. Paused recording time does not count. A 30-minute recording plus a 30-minute upload uses one hour. Video uploads count by their audio duration.
Can I use it for online meetings?
You can upload a recording from your meeting platform. Such Much does not join Zoom, Google Meet or Teams calls or capture their audio directly. Its recorder captures sound through your device's microphone.
Can I edit transcripts or play back recordings?
You can download a Word document and make corrections there. Editing and audio playback inside the app are not available yet. You can download retained audio to listen to it on your device.
What if I choose the wrong language?
Use Redo to select another language while the original audio is still available. Reprocessing the same recording this way does not use more of your audio allowance.
What happens when I run out of hours?
The app shows your remaining time and warns you as a recording approaches the limit, then stops and saves it. To continue, choose a paid plan, upgrade to a larger plan or wait for your paid allowance to renew. We do not automatically charge you for extra hours.
How long are my files kept?
Completed recordings are kept for seven days after transcription. Transcripts and notes are kept for 30 days by default. The app shows deletion dates, and you can delete files earlier. Download anything you want to keep before it expires. See the Privacy Policy for the full retention details.
Can I cancel my subscription?
Yes. Cancel in Settings to stop future renewals. Unused monthly hours do not carry over to the next billing period.
